How Basket Strainers Work
A Basket Strainer works by physically separating debris from fluid in three easy steps:
-
Fluid Entry: The liquid (or gas) enters the strainer and flows directly into a specialized, removable basket filter located inside the body.
-
Filtration: As the fluid passes through the basket’s mesh, all solid particles, dirt, and debris are trapped inside the basket. The clean, filtered fluid then exits the strainer through the outlet.
-
Easy Cleaning: When the basket is full, the cover can be easily removed. The basket is simply taken out, cleaned of trapped debris, and reinstalled, ensuring your filtration process remains efficient with minimal downtime.
